103碩士論文:以感知地墊偵測行走路徑並計算碎形維度以分析失智症患者遊走行為

遊走行為(wandering behavior)是失智長者的常見的問題行為,近年學者應用碎形維度分析失智症患者遊走情形,根據失智長者遊走路徑的複雜程度來判斷失智症嚴重程度。 本研究目的應用WhizCARPET實際導入養護機構失智症長者住房,偵測使用者活動資訊,並於雲端建立前置功能演算法與遊走演算法,前置演算法能分析使用者即時活動與區域定位;除了觀察失智症患者的行為模式,遊走行為演算法則可將活動資訊加以分類出獨立遊走事件並計算其Fractal D,透過計算遊走事件的路徑複雜度-碎形維度(fractal dimension)分析失智症患者發生的遊走模式,期能成為評估失智症遊走行為的指標。 關鍵字:遊走行為、碎形維度、Fractal D

Using fractal dimension derived from trajectory measured by motion sensing carpet to assess wandering behaviors of dementia patients

Wandering is a prevalent behavior in dementia people, according to the path tortuosity, in recent years fractal dimension was applied for assessing the wandering behavior of people with dementia. The purpose of the research is implementing WhizCARPET into the dementia patient’s room in nursing home. By prerequisite function algorithm and wandering algorithm, WhizCARPET can detect the real-time activity information, localization. The activity information can be classified to individual wandering event by wandering algorithm, and it turns out the “Fractal D”. Via assess the path tortuosity “fractal dimension”, we hope the Fractal D of wandering event which was detected by WhizCARPET can be an indicator for wandering behavior.
