活動感知地墊物聯網架構開發與場域測試

室內定位與活動偵測是建置智慧生活空間的基礎技術,而居家環境中的科技應該在尊重個人隱私要求,且不該改變其原本舒適的生活環境的前提下,整合於個人生活空間。在此考量下,將感測元件結合於木質地板、地磚或地墊中進行室內定位與活動偵測之技術較為合宜。 本研究開發之活動感知地墊WhizCarpet可於居家環境中簡易地架設或拆除,並透過物聯網資訊架構開發,除了能遠端即時顯示活動資料外,當特定事件(如跌倒)發生時,亦可與其他物聯網產品做結合,如智慧型手機接收訊息,燈光改變警示等。本研究亦歸納出WhizCarpet實際導入於真實場域中,所需的相關建議及發現的問題與解決方法。

Development and application of IoT motion sensing carpet

Localization and mobility monitoring are fundamental functions for constructing a smart living space. Considering user acceptance, the technology in home environment has to be unobtrusive, easy to use, considerate for privacy and be a natural part of the home environment. As a result, the floor sensor is a more suitable approach. This research uses the WhizCarpet, which allows the users to assemble by themselves according to their desired shape and area. The WhizCarpet is designed as an Internet of Thing (IoT) device, so other IoT devices such as mobile devices can receive events by subscribing specific topic, and displays the location and fall events on the App. The motion sensing WhizCarpet has been developed and implemented in field test. Reliability of the information structure, user acceptance, as well as other practical design issues were observed and verified in this field trial. This research also conclude the issues were observed and adjustments were made to solve these problems.
